Man that 67 is so much better looking than the 70's models.

Yep. Not only is the ‘72 worst from the front, arguably from the back as well. Not by a huge margin, but enough of one.

Easy. DD ‘72 (only year with a predominantly horizontal slatted grille instead of the usual egg crate, my favorite year.)

Pretty sure everyone is in agreement to burn the 72. The only reason to keep it was the fact it could be optioned with a 500 cu in (8.2L) V8. The previous to 71 you could only get the 472 cu in...

Also at that time the 500 was the world’s largest engine.

I’m ok with big, and I’m ok with slow but not simultaneously. Also, an E39 M5 is “big”in my world. So these caddys are super tankers to me.

Yep Cadillac’s motto at the time was the Standard of the World and at the time Lincoln had the biggest motor (460 or 464) and Cadillac didn’t like that so the developed the 472 cu in. There are records saying that they had plans for an even bigger motor before the smog and fuel shortage.

And just as a reference how bad it was in the smog era the 500 in 70 made 400hp, by 76 it made 190hp.
